My name is Emily Leistiko Simmons.
I’m a 2D animator, an illustrator, and a self described Professional Escapist. Simply put- I am in love with all things that make for great and imaginative story telling. To help add a little magic and joy to the world through imaginative art and productions is my purpose and joy in life - be that through bringing characters to life through animation, illustration or the written word.
For seven years of my career so far I have been working in the animation industry for studios such as Blue Zoo, Dog Ears and Cloth Cat - working on short films such as Partridge In A Bear Tree and The Hounds Annwn and multiple seasons of children’s TV series including Supertato, The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, Luo Bao Bei, and an upcoming production from Cartoon Saloon and Dog Ears I’m very excited to eventually share.
